How much is racism going for these days? About $541 a minute.
That’s how much racist “antiracism” snake oil salesman Ibram X. Kendi hauled in for an April 2021 speech at the University of Virginia, according to documents obtained by the Daily Wire through a Freedom of Information Act request. Kendi pocketed $32,500 for the hour-long “racial equity” chat, reportedly attended by 876 people.
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee paid $45,000, or about $207 per minute, for Kendi to promote his books and train faculty and students, the Daily Wire’s Gabe Kaminsky reported.
Kendi is a leading purveyor of the junk “science” of antiracism, leftist indoctrination that feeds the fallacy that the United States is a systemically racist society bound by white supremacy. Kendi’s books include Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America, and How to Be an Antiracist. Widely taught and circulated in public school and on college campuses, the books carry Kendi’s ideas that “the only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination.” This is the same guy who labeled U.S. Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett a “white coloniser” who uses her two adopted black children as “props.”
Kendi has turned racially charged division into a profitable enterprise, a curious twist in a school of thought that preaches the evils of capitalism. A 2021 College Fix analysis found Kendi was paid at least $300,000 for his lectures in recent years.
In today’s woke world, Kendi’s brand of racism pays handsomely.
