All Woke Up: College students cool with looting

Empower Wisconsin | June 23, 2020

Reality checked out of college campuses a long time ago.

A new poll by the College Fix underscores the war on reality in higher education.

An astounding 94 percent of Democratic college students surveyed said they support defunding the police, according the online poll of 1,500 college students nationwide.

More troubling, 61 percent of college students who identified as Democrats said rioting and looting are legitimate forms of protest against racial discrimination and police brutally.

The College Fix poll found 13 percent of Republican students support defunding the police, and 5 percent think riots and looting are an acceptable form of protest.

“Overall, 68 percent of students polled support defunding the police while 32 percent are opposed, according to the results. As to the rioting and looting question, overall 39 percent said it was a legitimate form of protest while 48 percent said it was not, and 13 percent are unsure,” the College Fix noted.

The poll’s results beg another question for rational Americans: How much hope do you have in the future?
