“First do no harm” effectively has been replaced by “First do what’s Woke” at the University of Washington’s newly launched “Center for Antiracism in Nursing.”
An “Anti-Racism Pledge” for students is pending approval, according to the nursing school’s announcement, The College Fix reported. The nursing school removed the pledge from its website but a cached version can be read here.
The center is designed to confront “white privilege” and “anti-blackness.”
The nursing school dean said “nurses are in the ideal position” to combat racism.
“There is much work to do to become antiracist, not just as a society, but as a school, a university, a profession and a community,” Azita Emami said in the media statement.
But antiracism — the nostrum of the painfully Woke and their water carriers — isn’t about combatting racism. At it’s core, it’s regurgitated Neo-Marxism designed to tear down institutions and systems that interfere with the radical left’s political mission.
It’s tearing people apart in the name of identity politics.
It is doing a lot of harm, but that’s the intent of the painfully Woke.
