All Woke Up: Wakeup call in Wauwatosa

Some Woke Wauwatosa residents got a wakeup call last week.

After Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm declined to charge a black officer who fatally shot a black man in self defense, Tosa’s “peaceful” protesters rolled out in force for a riotous march through the city. They’ve been holding disorderly demonstrations for months, but this time they smashed windows of businesses and residences, looted a store, and attacked police trying to keep the peace.

Some ran roughshod on their motorbikes over the sidewalks and backyards of Tosa neighborhoods.

One liberal resident wasn’t having it. In a Woke “get off my lawn” moment, the man yelled at the less-than-peaceful protesters.

“Do you know how many Democrats, how many MPS (Milwaukee Public Schools) teachers, union members, other people that would support you live on this street, and you’re going to let him ride through my yard? Show some respect,” he shouted at the rioters on a motorcycle. The confrontation was caught on video.

“The cops pushed us this way, just so you know,” one of the protesters informed the frustrated man.

“So they pushed you into my yard?” he said, incredulously.

That’s the logic of the radical left. And the allies of a violent movement are learning — perhaps too late — that it’s only a matter of time before the violence is pointed at them.
