TikTok is “digital fentanyl addicting our kids,” U.S. Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-8th CD) told Sean Duffy on “Sunday Morning Futures.”
Gallagher and U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) have authored a bill that would ban TikTok from operating in the United States over privacy concerns and the video-hosting service’s connections to the Chinese Communist Party.
“That means the CCP can track your location. It can track your keystrokes. It can censor your news. Why would we give our foremost adversary that amount of power?” Gallagher said.
The congressman also discussed national security threats posed by runaway federal spending.
