MADISON — State Sen. Tim Carpenter filmed the very moment he was violently attacked by radical leftists in the Black Lives Matter movement.
The openly gay Milwaukee Democrat, a longtime champion of the BLM initiative, later posted on Twitter that he was assaulted and “beat up” because he was taking a video of the rioters.
“Punched/kicked in the head, neck, ribs. Maybe concussion, socked in left eye is little blurry, sore neck & ribs. 8-10 people attacked me,” Carpenter tweeted. “Innocent people are going to get killed. Capitol locked – stuck in office. Stop violence nowPlz!”
