Hope in education

New York City spends almost $30,000 per student, but private schools are outperforming the public system with significantly less funding.

Government schools fail kids, and many are stuck without hope of getting out.

But some have escaped the status quo of educational failure thanks to a charity called Student Sponsor Partners (SSP).

John Stossel reports on the difference SSP has made in the lives of the children once left behind.
