Joe Biden has already surrendered to the virus

Empower Wisconsin | Nov. 3, 2020

MADISON — “…(W)e’re not going to surrender to this virus.”

That’s what a masked Joe Biden declared Friday evening at Milwaukee’s General Mitchell Airport — to a sparse crowd of 50 supporters in face coverings and segregated in social distancing circles.

All that was missing was Biden holding a white flag —  and his sense of irony.

As the Democrat presidential candidate “campaigned” amid fellow COVID fear pushers like Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore of Milwaukee, Biden said the “American people don’t give up, we don’t give in.”

He’s right. At least about the Americans who have resisted surrendering to a virus that the vast majority of people survive. The Americans refusing to lock up their businesses, their livelihoods and their lives on the orders of unelected bureaucrats and power-grabbing politicians. Americans who have no intention of cowering in their basements or standing in social-distancing circles as their government tramples all over their liberties in the name of security.

“Unlike Donald Trump, we’re not going to surrender to the virus,” Biden told his frightened followers.

Joe Biden has already surrendered to the virus. As president, he and his liberty-loathing friends will do everything in their power to make sure the rest of America follows suit.

Crueler than COVID: Forcing the sick and elderly to die alone

With a new wave of COVID-19 lockdowns beginning, however, I feel compelled to share our story because that journey convinces me that we, as a nation, are subjecting the dying to physical and psychological torture in the name of fighting a pandemic.
