The extremism of the mask mandaters took another insane turn last week when a California School District official called the police on a 4-year-old student without a face covering.
The little boy was ultimately sent home in the incident, which was caught on camera by the child’s father.
Wisconsin has seen this movie before in the paranoid Big Brother COVID era.
In October, 14-year-old Mikaila Spiess was forcibly removed from Eau Claire’s Memorial High School because she had sat near someone in class who tested positive for COVID-19. Eau Claire City-County Health Department Director Elizabeth “Lieske” Giese demanded the girl stay home and sought a court order to force her to quarantine, despite the fact that Mikaila tested negative for COVID. Police were called to school in that case, according to Mikaila’s mother, Kita Busse.
Mikaila, who was isolated from her fellow students as she first resisted the health department’s attempt to remove her, likened the experience to the Salem Witch trials.
In the incident at Theuerkauf Elementary School in Mountainview, Calif., the kindergartener was escorted out of his classroom by school principal Michelle Williams.
“I welcome him here and I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, I want him here but it is our district’s policy to have to wear a mask,” Williams tells the boy’s father in the video clip posted on Youtube. A police officer is seen speaking to the father, who identifies himself as Shawn.
Shawn told media outlets that his son has developmental issues and won’t keep his mask on.
The school district subsequently ended its mask mandate, as the video was being shared. District officials say the COVID threat abated.
The father and his attorney spoke to “Fox & Friends First.”
