More vandalism, intimidation celebrated as ’social justice’

Empower Wisconsin | Sept 17, 2020

MADISON — Another day, another “peaceful” protest in the lib city where law and order have come to die.

A Black Lives Matter group billing itself as Black Umbrella took to the streets Wednesday, particularly busted-up State Street, for a Paint the Streets rally.

Police reported no acts of violence at the latest demonstration, just mostly disorderly demonstrators once more spray-painting obscene language and their hatred for cops on the graffiti-stained boards that cover State Street businesses like a long, unbroken scar.

The protest, in the 100-300 blocks, promised art, music, food, and a “Black open mic.” Another radical activist group, Link Madison, hosted the street painting — or property crime — portion of the festivities.

For too many State Street merchants that have lived on edge much of a summer filled with bursts of looting, rioting and violent crime (under the heading of “social justice”), the BLM press release must have been worrisome.

“We need y’all to come help us in leaving our mark on our streets!” a social network announcement urged. “We’ve been out here for 4+ months — during that time, we’ve seen businesses down state street board up their windows and take them down multiple times.” That might have something to do with “peaceful” protesters, in wave after wave, destroying said businesses, with no sympathy and no relief from an insanely woke city government.

The groups claim that “White Supremacist Terrorists” have shown up to “incite violence.” The streets, they say, belong only to them — whoever they are. And they offered their usual threats.

“Their attempts to silence and suppress all of us just makes us want to do more, go harder. They’re not hearing us, come help make sure they see us, let’s paint the streets!”
