Poll: Biden’s $3.5 trillion budget very unpopular

President Joe Biden’s $3.5 trillion budget plan is even less popular than he is.

A new Convention of States Action poll, conducted by noted pollster The Trafalgar Group, finds 71.5 percent of respondents say they are less likely to support the budget bill knowing that it comes with tax hikes and expanded debt. It does, despite ludicrous assumptions from the administration.

“Independents and Republicans oppose this bill by huge majorities, as do fully half of Democrats. Almost nobody supports Biden’s runaway spending spree, and folks are outraged that—with everything else they’ve had to endure with this failed presidency—increasing taxes and adding to our astronomical debt are actually on the table,” said Mark Meckler, President of Convention of States Action. “The hard left can continue to make noise, but our elected officials know where the public stands on this monstrosity. This proposal is not happening.”

The poll, conducted between Sept. 29 and Oct. 1, found:

  • 73.7 percent of Independents say they are less likely to support President Biden’s proposed $3.5 trillion budget bill if they know it increases taxes and grows the national debt. 21.7 percent say they are more likely.
  • 92 percent of Republicans say they are less likely to support President Biden’s proposed $3.5 trillion budget bill if they know it increases taxes and grows the national debt. 6.9 percent say they are more likely.
  • 50.2 percent of Democrats say they are less likely to support President Biden’s proposed $3.5 trillion budget bill if they know it increases taxes and grows the national debt. 33.8 percent say they are more likely.

Amazingly, nearly 18 percent of the 1,000 likely 2022 election voters surveyed said they are much more likely to support the $3.5 trillion budget bill because it raises taxes and the national debt.

Biden’s poll numbers continue to plummet, as the Democrat’s popularity takes a beating after a string of missteps. A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll found the president’s approval rating at 46 percent. His obscene tax-and-spend budget isn’t helping matters.

  • If It keeps up from Washington, it may be time for people to take out all their 401k. / IRA. Taking a 10% penalty rather than what they have planned. The Democrats know how much is in those accounts collectively and have been looking for a way to get their hands on it for years and they are getting closer. Don’t reward them,

  • I think the main n population of the USA is finally waking up. We do need better roads but the spending bill from the left covers more fluff than actual infrastructure.
Anyone that thinks the cost will be ZERO is not using the brain that GOD gave them.
