Portland has come up with a brilliant way to take care of its homeless problem: Porta Potties.
As the homeless population swells in Oregon’s largest and super-wokest city, liberal leaders have rolled out mobile hygiene units to the streets. Think of it like Lollapalooza for the downtrodden.
It’s either that, or break out the poop maps.
“It seems like it could be a health hazard, especially when you see needles and feces on the ground,” a Portlander told Fox News, referring to the unsanitary conditions presented by tent cities of homeless people.
Yes, feces and needles is not a good look, especially for a super hip progressive city.
Now, Portland won’t have to be bothered with such unsightly messes, thanks to portable toilets, hand-washing stations, and trash cans.
The idea here is: if you can’t fix the problem, give the problem some place to pee. And while it will do nothing to stop the flood of homelessness demolishing big liberal West Coast cities, it will make the woke denizens of Portland feel like they’re making a difference.
Yet to be determined: whether the Porta Potties come with signs that advise, “All displaced people must wash hands before returning to homelessness.”
