MADISON — As Americans’ personal economies burn, President Joe Biden and congressional Democrats are fiddling with a reality TV show, according to Mark Meckler, president of Convention of States Action.
“It’s ironic to think that they criticized Trump for being a reality TV star and then they actually put on a reality television show,” Meckler, referring to last week’s Jan. 6 committee’s prime-time hearing, told Empower Wisconsin’s M.D. Kittle on the Vicki McKenna Show.
While the Democratic Party pushes its “insurrection” narrative in hopes of staving off a mid-terms massacre, Meckler said Americans are struggling to make ends meet.
“Instead of worrying about what’s best for the American people they’re hiring ABC producers to create a reality television show,” he said. “They ought to be dealing with the reality of inflation that’s out of control, gasoline that’s out of control.
“There are real, very pressing problems that Americans are facing and the Democratic Party seems uninterested in those things.”
Mark Meckler is our guest on today’s edition of PowerUp, Empower Wisconsin’s podcast.
