MADISON — Inflation is climbing to alarming levels, businesses are being buried in government red tape, and the United States’ is in jeopardy of losing hard-fought energy independence.

The Democrat president, bowing to the big government, big-spending left, is leading a spending bender that is proving costly for the U.S. economy and the American worker.

“People ask what does inflation mean to me. You’re paying more, which means no matter what your income is, you’re taking home less because you’re having to spend more for the products that you and your family purchase,” Walker told Empower Wisconsin’s M.D. Kittle Monday on the Dan O’Donnell Show. “And that’s the problem with all of this massive spending happening.”

Walker is joining U.S. Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) and others on the Save Our Paychecks National Tour throughout August and September. Heritage Action, in collaboration with the Coalition to Protect American Workers, is hosting state and national officials and small business owners at local businesses across the country in a series of events aimed at exposing how disastrous Joe Biden’s policies have been for the American worker.

Walker and Scott will be at Clifford’s Supper Club in Hales Corners from 2-3 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 16.
