Press Release| Empower Wisconsin announces Stephan Thompson as Spokesman.

Madison, WI – Today, Empower Wisconsin announces Stephan Thompson as Spokesman.

“After an incredibly challenging year, people in Wisconsin are still suffering and the policies of Governor Tony Evers are not working,” said Empower Wisconsin President Adam Jarchow. “Stephan has been fighting for conservative values in Wisconsin for close to fifteen years. We are thrilled to have him join the team to ensure Wisconsin people have a strong voice against an overreaching government.”

Thompson previously served as Executive Director of the Republican Party of Wisconsin and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s Campaign Manager during his successful 2014 re-election campaign, which was dubbed as one of the country’s “most consequential races.” It was during that campaign where Thompson oversaw and developed a nationally recognized in-house digital advertising and analytics department, a first in a Wisconsin Governor’s race. Thompson has been a trusted advisor for local, statewide and national campaigns, as well as committees, Super PAC’s, nonprofits and issue advocacy groups.

“Wisconsinites have been subjected to far-left policies and again, we have seen how ineffective and destructive their governance has been,” Thompson said. “I am excited to join Empower Wisconsin to ensure conservative ideas, policies, and stories of Wisconsinites suffering under the failed leadership of Governor Evers are heard around the state.”
