Pritzker promises ‘busloads’ of activists pouring into Wisconsin

Empower Wisconsin | Feb. 14,  2020

MADISON — The Illinois Democratic Party machine has earned a well-deserved reputation of playing dirty in politics.

So you can forgive Republicans for feeling a bit nervous when Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker this week talked about “vanloads and busloads” of Illinois left-wing activists invading Wisconsin during the general election campaign.

In a conversation with Politico at the publication’s annual State Solutions Conference, the liberal governor bragged that his state has a “very activist, political environment.” No doubt. Illinois Democrats are so active they have been known to vote while dead.

“Trust me,” Pritzker said, with a big party boss smile, Illinois Dems have got this.

“… (A)s happened in previous years, vanloads and busloads of people from Illinois are going to be pouring over the borders into Wisconsin and Iowa helping knock on doors (and) working with the ground operations in those states and I’m excited about being able to help,” Pritzker said.

U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil (R-Janesville), whose 1st congressional district runs along Wisconsin’s southern border with Illinois, wondered just how much help liberal billionaire Pritzker and his big Dem machine intend to be in their presidential election activism.

“The governor of Illinois says he is ‘excited’ about helping bring in BUS LOADS of liberal activists from Illinois to Wisconsin to defeat @realDonaldTrump,” Steil tweeted. “We are ready to take them on!”

Perhaps. But it makes the Badger State’s present battle over voter integrity and potentially hundreds of thousands of outdated voter registrations even more urgent.

  • Beware of Fat Bastard Prickster and the crooked Chicago democRATS…be very aware! They can crush your economy and run your State in the ditch faster than anyone!

  • Activist equal uprising and trouble.
I don’t like what is heading our way, I fear what is on the way.
It could get real ugly here in Wisconsin and Pritzker is just throughing gasoline on the fire. I don’t want to be anywhere near this because it could turn very bad real quick. All we want is to keep our towns safe and civil but Pritzker is ramping it up.

  • That fat bastard had better NOT come to Wisconsin. He has NO business trying to corrupt Wisconsin like the Democrats have in Illinois. You keep your baby killing fat ass there.
