Spotlight: Threats cloud conservative events

MADISON — The organizers of a Milwaukee-area event on the dangers of woke indoctrination say they’re working with local law enforcement after receiving a number of threats.

Meanwhile, a theater in suburban Chicago has canceled a “reforming sex education” event after reportedly being bombarded with threats.

“Stolen Innocence: A Panel on the Insidious Ideology Infecting Your Children’s Education”, is scheduled for 6-9 p.m., Thursday at the Ingleside Hotel in Pewaukee, in Waukesha County.

Alexandra Schweitzer, host of the event and a member of sponsor Parents on Patrol, says organizers are aware of potential plans by liberal activists to disrupt the planned discussion. She said the event will go on as scheduled.
