State Journal: Are you now or were you ever a Biden denier?

Empower Wisconsin | Nov. 13, 2020

By M.D. Kittle

MADISON — Are there any lawmakers that haven’t accepted the corporate media’s coronation of Joe Biden as president?

The Wisconsin State Journal wants names.

In an email obtained by Empower Wisconsin, the liberal Madison newspaper is asking all lawmakers in the state Assembly and Senate whether they “recognize Democrat Joe Biden as the unofficial winner of Wisconsin’s presidential election and as president-elect.”

Of course  the newspaper isn’t really interested in what Democrats have to say. They’re all on board the Biden president-elect train. No, the state Journal wants to know if those nasty Republicans are sticking with President Donald Trump, who has a right  — a duty — in the opinion of a lot of the people who voted for him, to not concede the election until all of the “legal votes are counted.” (Liberals just hate that phrase).

Of course the usual suspects in the mainstream media can’t fathom why so many conservatives might resist their premature call of the razor-thin election for Biden while legitimate concerns about voter irregularities sufrace. Corporate news outlets and social network giants have scoffed at, ignored and outright censored allegations of election fraud.

The State Journal’s questions seem bent to the liberal narrative: Joe Biden is your president, and you had better accept it.

The email states:

Please answer the following questions by NOON THIS FRIDAY, NOV. 13 to include in the publication of our story. If we don’t hear from you, we will plan to write that you did not respond to a request for comment on the matter.

  1. Do you recognize Democrat Joe Biden as the unofficial winner of Wisconsin’s presidential election?
  2. Do you recognize Democrat Joe Biden as president-elect?
  3. If you answered no to either of the above, what is your reasoning? Please provide evidence to support your reasoning.
  4. Do you think that President Donald Trump should concede the race?
  5. Do you believe Wisconsin’s presidential election was conducted freely and fairly?

Does the newspaper “recognize” how tilted and insulting their questions are to a lot of conservatives.

Mike Mikalsen, spokesman for state Sen. Steve Nass (R-Whitewater), said he and his boss found the questions comical.

“We had a big chuckle,” he said. “That was the most ridiculous inquiry from the media.”

“It doesn’t matter what any legislator says. It doesn’t matter what the media says,” Mikalsen said, adding that nothing is settled until the electoral process plays out, not the least of which is the ongoing canvass of votes. Biden, as of the unofficial count, won Wisconsin by some 20,000 votes, less than 1 percent of the total. Trump has vowed a recount.

Funny how the times change.

As a wise conservative Capitol watcher pointed out this week, “I don’t remember a similar story being written in 2004 when Dems were caterwauling about Ohio voting machines, or from 2016 to 2020 when some Dems were (saying of Trump), ‘Not my President!’”

  • “Funny how the times change.”
Indeed four years ago Clinton, who lost by an identical Electoral vote margin and nearly identical number of votes in Wisconsin, conceded the day after the election. While Trump called the Wisconsin recount a “scam”. Prior to the 2016 recount he stated, “The people have spoken and the election is over. We must accept this result and then look to the future.”

How many Wisconsin Democratic office holders denied Trump was president-elect this time four years ago? Mark Pocan certainly accepted it right away, so did Gwen Moore and Peter Barca.
None in WI denied that I can recall, you don’t quote anyone except anonymous internet Democrats saying “not my president”.
    Hypocrisy thy name is Kittle.
