Tool of the Week: Kelda ‘the ghoul’ Roys

MADISON — There are some scary, nasty liberals in the Wisconsin Legislature. But this week’s Tool is a real “ghoul.”

Last week, as Republican state Sen. Andre Jacque reportedly was clinging to life in a hospital with COVID-19, his colleague, Sen. Kelda Roys (D-Madison), looked to fundraise over his grave.

Roys joined a chorus of unrighteously indignant Democrats and their public-relations firm in corporate media to bash Jacque for being an outspoken critic of mask and COVID vaccine mandates. They insisted that the liberty-defending senator was sure to kill scores of people who attended a legislative hearing at which Jacque testified — sans mask — before testing positive for COVID.

“So predictable. Selfish, irresponsible, dangerous behavior like THIS is why I fear for my kids when they return to school. We need to require vaccination verification for in person work and school, and universal masking until everyone’s had a chance to be vaccinated,” Roys predictably and hysterically wrote in a response to a tweet critical of Jacque.

Roys, one of the farthest left of the Madison Democrats, then tweeted a link to the State Senate Democratic Committee encouraging campaign donations to defeat Jacque.

“Just gonna drop this here, so we can have a nice bundle for whoever runs against him,” she wrote.

She got some love from her fellow lefties. Conservatives and people with more decency than a  Cuisinart food processor blasted Roys for trying to politically profit on tragedy.

Former Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, presumptive Republican candidate for governor. called Roys’ tweet “pure evil.” Kleefisch said Roys should resign.

One commenter described Roys as a “ghoul.”  Another took aim at the lawmaker’s lack of civility.

“Even though you don’t like the man, he has a wife and children. He is apparently not doing well. If you are a good person, you’ll delete this until he’s on the mend.”

She didn’t. She did offer a half-assed apology after Jacque’s brother asked her to do so for her “poorly timed, super tacky, and unhelpful (to anyone) fundraising tweet.”

“Hi Pierre, I am really sorry that your brother is in the hospital and that you and your family are going through this. You, like so many Americans, are watching a family member suffer from a disease we should have been able to conquer by now — it’s agonizing,” she wrote to the senators brother.

Also agonizing is watching the vultures in the hysteria porn peddling left rooting for the demise of those who choose not to get a COVID shot or wear a mask. So much for “co-exist.”

There are a lot of tools on the left, but Kelda “the ghoul” Roys is Empower Wisconsin’s Tool of the Week.

  • 1.Disrespect of a fellow legislator. 2.This is America Freedom of choice as you liberals say my body my choice. 3.Misinformed cloth and plain masks don’t stop this virus this is a control issue for liberals. 4.Further disrespect of legislator by publishing his illness to raise money against him. 5. This Virus is a pretty much a permanent fixture in our lives such as influenza and a common cold. It will learn and change hopefully become weaker. Are you going to live your life afraid get on with living. Also the Vaccine doesn’t stop it in fact you still get sick.

  • It sounds about right, the left are so single minded and uninformed about the REAL science of the virus. I thought we lived in the United States of America where we could all haave our own opinion.

  • A few things:
1/ Jacque ALREADY KNEW he tested positive before the committee hearings, but he attended anyway. Mask or not, that’s reckless and negligent.
2/ Jacque wasn’t just a vaccine and mask skeptic, he actively denied the proven effectiveness of those things with pure misinformation.
3/ Your rights to your own healthcare decisions end when you choose to potentially infect other people.
4/ Jacque, with co-morbidities in play long before his infection, is a perfect example of why people should get vaccinated and do whatever’s necessary to stop the spread of COVID.
5/ You probably won’t publish this, or you’ll take it down.
