Who’s this week’s Tool of the Week?

Empower Wisconsin | Oct. 14, 2019

MADISON — Sometimes there are just too many tools in the shed.

Today, Our Tool of the Week isn’t one person but the gaggle of Capitol Democrats who rolled out their nonsensical “Forward Together” plan last week.

They took their dog and pony show across the state to promote this dog of liberal dogma disguised as a legislative agenda.

If you want more government, less freedom, and more liberals this is the plan for you.

From the wrongheaded and costly “free” Medicaid expansion to anti-gun proposals, “Forward Together” is just as backward as the left’s national agenda.

The plan uses virtuous-sounding terms such as “fair wages” and “clean water,” but dig a little deeper and you’ll find unnecessary and expensive government-mandated programs that will hurt Wisconsin business and consumers and ultimately cost Wisconsin jobs.

And the Dems double down on things like legalizing marijuana. While certainly popular in the polls, the left’s push for legailizaiton isn’t about lifting restrictions as much as it is another excuse to tax something. Whoa, dude! Look how much tax money we could bring into state government if we legalized it and stopped criticizing it, the left logic goes.

For now, with conservatives in charge of the Legislature, this costly socialisty agenda is nothing more than left-wing talking points.

But with Tony Evers in the East Wing, legislative Democrats are more emboldened than ever.

They are also collectively Empower Wisconsin’s Tool of the Week.

Crueler than COVID: Forcing the sick and elderly to die alone

With a new wave of COVID-19 lockdowns beginning, however, I feel compelled to share our story because that journey convinces me that we, as a nation, are subjecting the dying to physical and psychological torture in the name of fighting a pandemic.

1 thought on “Who’s this week’s Tool of the Week?

  • That photo is of the same gaggle of hemorrhoids, losers, and Capitol infesting vermin that is on display every time some reprobate “policy” of the WI hammer and sickle party is articulated. Every time this collection of degenerates from the Island of Misfit Maos is presented in the press there should be a disclaimer: “Warning: Bovine Scatology in heavy doses can lead to uncontrollable projectile vomiting; people with principles and intellects should mute the volume.”
