MADISON — Nancy Pelosi cares deeply for the children of California.
That’s why she wants organizers of a campaign to oust her leftist friend Gov. Gavin Newsom to give up this silly recall business, an effort the Speaker of the House believes to be a “nuisance.”
“Reject the recall,” the Democrat said. “It’s not good for you. It’s not good for children or other living things.”
Other living things? The recall is not good for puppies? House plants? Kevin O’Leary, Canadian businessman, author and “Mr. Wonderful” on ABC’s Shark Tank?
Don’t liberals think recalls are a good thing? They certainly thought so when they launched a rabid political attack in 2011 on Scott Walker, who at the time was the Republican governor of Wisconsin daring to take on the powerful public employees unions.
The recall wasn’t bad for children or other livings things then. Liberals thought Scott Walker was bad for children and living things. He definitely wasn’t good for the trough dwellers and the entitled teachers unions he took on at his own political peril.
But now that many Californians — Republicans and Democrats and Independents — see their liberal, power-grabbing governor as a threat to their liberties and good governance, that’s not good for California.
So says the Speaker of the House, who spent four years trying to recall a president of the United States for purely political reasons.
Californians should really think of the children and recall — that is, vote out — Nancy Pelosi from her position of authority.
She’s not good for sentient things. She’s a tool, Empower Wisconsin’s Tool of the Week.
