Tool of the Week: Space Oddity Kamala Harris

Little is real about the Biden presidency. The Democrat, an empty vessel of the radical left, has been engaged in an ongoing war on reality.

He wants to print money like inflation isn’t real. He and his liberal friends don’t think much of the natural, immutable laws of human biology.

And now his vice president, Kamala Harris, has turned what should have been an innocuous kids video about space exploration into the 1978 thriller Capricorn One.

As the Los Angeles Times reported:

It should have been the safest of political appearances — a group of kids gushing about their love of science and space exploration with Vice President Kamala Harris.

But for Harris, it became a controversy.

The children, it turned out, were paid actors. And the video, filmed on location at the White House and the vice president’s official residence at the Naval Observatory, was promoted on NASA’s YouTube Channel and Harris’ Twitter account last week without making that clear.

The VP’s exaggerated gestures and faux excitement make the crew of “Plan 9 from Outer Space” look like Oscar-winning actors. Thankfully, Harris was surrounded by child actors playing the part of real children.

“It’s the fakest thing ever caught on video,” Tucker Carlson said.

For an administration that pretends to understand the struggles and problems of real people, Harris’ space oddity shows the actual disconnect between the show and the audience.

But unreal is what you get from an administration “led” by a guy who doesn’t seem to know where he is or who he is much of the time.

And Biden’s vice president is an actor — a bad one at that. But Kamala Harris’ greatest role is that of the left’s tool.

She is Empower Wisconsin’s Tool of the Week.

  • This is not just about illegal aliens; it’s also about the importance of reducing legal immigration to sustainable numbers. At this moment, Pew Research says immigration accounts for nearly 90 percent of our population growth that is projected to create more than 400 million of us by 2065. Think we have problems today? What will they be like in only 44 years?

  • Kamala Harris needs to learn how to prioritize her duties as a VP such as working on a coherent plan to lawfully allow immigrants come in through the border from all countries. Who is paying for all these people to live here. Many are undocumented. My families came in legally!! I don’t get it????
