Tool of the Week: The children on the Madison school board

No one should be surprised by the bedlam at Madison East High School last week.

Police were called to multiple fights after a brawl broke out in school. Some kid hit the fire alarm, panic ensued. By the time police arrived, an estimated 250 students were outside either watching the fight or participating. An officer was reportedly struck in the face while trying to break up the fight. Police had to use pepper spray to move back the crowd as some students tried to block officers from intervening. Five students were transported to the hospital.

Among the throng were family members, adults, or a facsimile thereof.

The problem is, there don’t appear to be any adults left in Madison, certainly not in positions of authority. If there had been a majority of grown-ups on the Madison Metropolitan School Board, then East and the district’s other high schools would have Student Resource Officers walking the halls today. Instead, the Woke children in leadership positions listened to the mob of police defunders crying “racism!” at every turn.

Madison police warned they would be back when the district removed them from the schools, and it wouldn’t have been in a preventative capacity.

As of last week, officers had been called to the high school 63 times since the beginning of the school year. And the violence is escalating.

The irresponsible adults who run the Madison Metropolitan School District, the ones still clutching disastrous liberal concepts of “restorative justice” and no-consequence discipline, still don’t get it.

A police spokesperson told the press “the student who allegedly injured the officer was cited and released. A second student was cited and released for having an edged weapon.”

Cited and released.

Some 600 East High students stayed home the day after the brawl.

“I’m kind of concerned,” sophomore Adrian Perez said. “My mom is thinking about switching me to online school.”

It’s no longer a high school. It’s a war zone.

The board has called a special meeting for tonight on “school safety.” That’s like the icebergs leading a meeting on high to keep the Titanic afloat.

Kids should expect to be safe in school, but that expectation has disappeared in Madison. That’s because there are no grown-ups in charge.

There are only leftist tools who continue to be elected by leftist tools.

For this sad reality, the Madison school board and the people who have put them in power are collectively Empower Wisconsin’s Tool of the Week.

  • There are no adults running any section of our government anymore. We need politicians that stand up for our constitution, and laws. We also need our schools to educate our students and not indocturinate our kids. We should have learned from the time of Hitler.
